Rayna Dorsey, LMT, has been practicing bodywork and shamanic healing since 1984, focusing on clients with fibromyalgia, chronic pain, injuries and trauma survivors. She has been licensed in the state of Oregon since 1990 . Her training included 1000 hour program specializing in the body/mind connection at East-West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon. As a member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 1990, Rayna has served her profession by volunteering at both the state and national level in various positions. Rayna was a member of the Oregon Sports Massage Team for 5 years.

Rayna has also been teaching massage and bodywork since 1995, which included 13 years of curriculum courses and clinic supervision at East-West College, as well as her own continuing education courses throughout the United States. She joined the faculty of the University Of Western States in January of 2010 as a Clinic Supervisor of massage interns, where she continued to teach until March of 2018. Her mission as a teacher is to inspire and educate students and practitioners of massage and bodywork to be knowledgeable, skilled, ethical, critical thinking massage therapists.

Her therapeutic bodywork skills include myofascial release, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, craniosacral therapy, Swedish massage and shamanic healing. She approaches her practice and teaching by blending intuitive skills, humor and academic knowledge.
